Christmas List! (subject to change...)

Happy Sunday Readers!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! My weekend flew by and it was amazing! Definitely needed but now of course I'm behind on sleep and homework (grrr)...but in an effort to put off practicing for a presentation tomorrow, I figure I'll share my Christmas List with you all! Disclaimer: my Christmas list is extremely monogrammed theme...I'm not sure why but I'm obsessed with anything monogrammed this season!

My mac is a little over three years old now and it's just not as white as it used to be :( I think this laptop cover would freshen it up a bit and would be super cute

I've had my eye on a Patagonia sweater or vest for a longgggg time- this fall I purchased a Vineyard Vines vest so I think this jacket would be perfect to get instead of another vest. It looks SO warm and comfortable, which is very very necessary in Boston winters. Also, Patagonia has such great environmental and community outreach campaigns! It feels like it would be money well spent!

I LOVE these earrings! I think they're so fun and would add a little something to a plain and simple outfit (aka what I wear like everyday). But I'm not sure what color combo I should get? Any suggestions?!

I discovered this perfume last winter and have been obsessed with it ever since. It's very fresh and clean but girly at the same time- and I think the bottle is just adorable! I ran out of this perfume a few weeks ago and I'm desperate for a refill!

(I did warn you all that I'm on a monogram kick this year!)

I think this would be a super cute accessory for my new grey pea coat from H&M! (or the Patagonia sweater above...) but I would definitely go with a lighter color scarf! Does anyone have one from Marley Lilly and have any suggestions?

I currently own these but they're about a year old and getting a little too worn in and I definitely need a replacement pair! They're the perfect pumps for nights out or for when I have sorority functions! I have a different pair of patent leather black shoes with a much shorter heel that I will wear for my internship next semester!

7. AEPhi Vineyard Vines Tote

I am SOO excited about this gift! (something I'm actually getting for myself) One of my sorority sisters works at Vineyard Vines in Boston and was able to customize their totes for AEPhi and at half the price! I'm so anticipating their arrival! I can't wait to use it for class next semester!

So far that's all I have for my list! I think the best part about Christmas is getting presents for other people! When I'm home for Thanksgiving, I plan on getting some shopping for family and friends started! (I'll be super busy with work at Lilly and homework but a girl can try!)

What's on your Christmas list?!

XOXO

It's OK Thursdays!

Happy Thursday Readers :)
Today I'm linking up with Neely @ A Complete Waste of Makeup for It's Okay Thursday! There's a lot of things I'm okay with this week (especially today..)

Hey it's ok...

to have woken up this morning at 9:01am when I had to be at work at 9am..(um hello freaky internal alarm clock)

to run to work in yoga pants, a t-shirt and my glasses (ew) but to skip my first class just to go back to my apartment to put normal clothes and makeup on (good thing I only live two blocks from where I work!)

to be going home in less than a week! I cannot wait to sleep in my old bed and see my family! And especially to get back to work at Lilly Pulizer

to be accepted into both of the internships that I applied to for next semester, when I didn't think I would get either! (gives me a ray of hope for real-life job applications!)

to be overly obsessed with the french onion soup from Panera...I order it at least once a week!

to carry around my Lilly planner, Lilly mini-notebook, and Lilly post-it book everywhere I go...hey! when I girl likes to make lists- she likes to make lists!

to sport my Vineyard Vines pullover today since it is such a yucky fall day :(

to be excited that it's Thursday and that means it's the official start to the weekend! If you read mypost below, you know that I have a very exciting weekend coming up!

to be continuously working on my Christmas list and send my mom 10 emails a day with new ideas only for her to respond with "aren't you too old for Christmas lists Elena?" NOO...a girl can never be too old for christmas lists right?!

to be planning my first GIVEAWAY for next week! I would like to reach 30 followers by that time :) Seasoned bloggers, any advice for going about planning this?

What do YOU say is okay today?

XOXO

Happy Fall!

Without question, Fall is absolutely my FAVORITE season! Everything about it makes me OH, so happyyy...from big coozy sweaters, leather boots and the chance to drink a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks...what could be better?

Maybe it's the fact that Fall means we're just that much closer to CHRISTMAS (an entirely separate blog post will be dedicated to this special special holiday).  With fall comes the start of classes (um just experienced my last fall semester of college...it's november and I'm still not over it yet), new school supplies, boots, sweaters and scarves (if you couldn't already tell I love scarves, see my post here about them), changing colors of the leaves, and the crisp chill in the morning that turns into the perfect jacket-optional weather.

(my new Lilly Pulitzer agenda

I think Boston is the ideal place to enjoy Fall weather. The Charles River is absolutely gorgeous when the leaves change colors. Going for a run on the river in the mornings is one of my favorite activities.

I found this photo on Google Images and it perfectly summarizes my favorite fall colors!

As I mentioned before, the Fall season is my absolute favorite season for fashion. I'm all about comfort so the fact that you can just wear leggings, jeans, or a skirt paired w/tights, big sweaters, boots and a scarf is ideal for me...

Two of my other favorite things about the Fall are Thanksgiving AND APPLE PICKING! Growing up in New York City, it was hard to do a ton of outdoorsy things very often but my parents made a tradition of going apple and pumpkin picking in the Hamptons every Columbus Day Weekend. I loved picking my own apples, drinking hot apple cider while snacking on a cider donut, getting myself lost in the corn maze on purpose just to scare my mom. The day was the epitome of my favorite season. I still try to go apple picking with my sorority every fall. This past October we went to Tougas Family Farm together and despite the fact that it was a little rainy it was still such a great time spent with my sisters!

Another photo I came across the covers a few of my favorite fall items...

sweaters...scarves..pumpkin spice lattes..candles...what else could a girl want? AND purple nail polish...i die! I'm a big Essie fan- here a few of the other colors I've been sporting this fall:

As I mentioned before Fall means this holiday is just around the corner:

AND the fact that we're just that much closer to this...

what better way to ring in the holiday season than with Vineyard Vines

What are your favorite things about the Fall season?

Happy Monday!
