Friday Fancies!

Happy Friday! 

I'm especially happy today because not only is it Friday, meaning I survived the work week and it's the official start to the weekend buttt it also means I'm only two days away from being in sunny Mexico! If I haven't already made it clear, I'm seriously so excited to just relax, tan, drink, enjoy my best friends company and just have some fun! 

{Well I'm definitely taking advantage of mine!}

Traveling this weekend means I am missing all of the St. Patrick's Day festivities which to be honest, I'm definitely bummed about! My friends are doing a bar crawl on Saturday and then the parade on Sunday! BUT there will be many, many more St. Patrick's Days and only so many vacations! 

But to get in the spirit I've put together two outfits for Friday Fancies! 

I love the "day" outfit and it was a bit warmer in Boston I would definitely wear something like that for St. Patrick's Day! And if I had a fancy place to go at night (I'm not sure if St. Patrick's day could be considered a "fancy" holiday) I would definitely wear this emerald dress! 

Can't wait to see everyone else's outfits!

Friday Fancies!

HAPPY FRIDAY! 

(can you tell I'm excited that it's Friday...because I definitely am!) I'm linking up with Long Distance Loving for Friday Fancies! I love putting outfits together but I especially love some fun jewels! 

I decided to keep it simple with pretty gold accessories! Often I'm so tired in the morning by the time I get to the decision process for jewelry, it's just whatever is easiest. I love simple, clean gold accessories. They classy and elegant and don't overwhelm your outfit. And you can always pair them with bolder accessories! 

Did anyone get the "Frost Yourself" reference to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days?! I hope so...

Friday Fancies!

Happy Friday!

Thank goodness it's finally the end of the week! I am really looking forward to some fun plans this weekend and mostly to just sleep in and relax. Thanksgiving and returning home cannot happen soon enough in my opinion.

Celebrating Fall sweets and flavors with Friday Fancies, can anything be better? I love cranberry sauce and especially the color cranberry. So of course I based my Friday Fancies on just that:

Even though this would probably be a cranberry overload, I do really like each individual piece of this outfit (and would probably wear them all together actually).

Going Out in Gingham!

Happy Monday Readers! 

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was pretty relaxing- got to get away to one of my best friends houses on Saturday night. So nice to get out of the city every once in a while! 

So unfortunately, I wasn't around my computer on Friday so I couldn't participate in Friday Fancies! But I figured why not share my gingham creations anyways?! 

Even though Outfit #1 is a little more, um scandalous? and not something I would normally wear but maybe for a outdoors concert or a fun girls night out- it could definitely work! The second outfit is pretty similar to something I wear....pretty often haha. J Crew chino shorts are a big staple in my summer wardrobe!
